Over the next few weeks 502 Gallery, will be spotlighting some of their featured artworks that’ll soon be available at Shopliftable. To kick things off, they are thrilled to introduce Nancy Hielscher!
Nancy’s paintings capture the essence and beauty of everyday objects. She describes her work as abstract realism, incorporating mediums such as india ink, acrylic paint, collage, and the “printed world”. She discusses her vintage cookbook pages as “all the news that’s fit to paint” and “every picture tells a story”.
Creating a visually dynamic piece that challenges the conventional way of drawing and painting, she invites viewer to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
