In recognition of Black History Month, the annual exhibit at Art Center Sarasota showcases works by member artists of the Manasota chapter of the Association for the Study of African-American Life and History (ASALH).  Ellie’s work speaks of the heritage of the past but carries these traditions into the future.  She includes African-American fabrics and layering and texturing patterns.

Susan Klein

The Suitcase Show, Art From The Endangered Everglades, August 27 – September 7, 2014.  This show started in Oslo, Norway, then traveled to a gallery in the Adirondacks and is now at The Puffin Foundation, December 5, 2015-January 17, 2016, Teaneck, NJ.  This traveling exhibit features the work of 28 Everglades Artists-In-Residents.

Invited Artist to Eighth Celebration of Art, Grand Canyon, AZ. September 2016.  Exhibit of work to be at Kolb Gallery September, 2016 – January, 2017.

Two-day exhibit of work created from Great Basin National Park residency, Sept. 6&7, 2015.  Great Basin National Park.  Delivered the painting, “Range to Basin,” 40” x 30” for the Park’s permanent collection.
